        Introduce

As modern material civilization develops, the types of diseases and diseases are increasing, and their causes are becoming more diverse. With the rapid development of technology, smart home automation systems have surged, our lifestyles have also changed significantly. Chronic diseases and lifestyle diseases caused by westernized eating habits, lack of exercise due to automated lifestyles, flooding of various harmful environments, and aging are on the rise. Accordingly, various medical methods have been developed and have contributed to improving the quality of human life. It is true that modern medicine also reveals limitations in many ways.

It is a study that systematically studies various theories and practices of natural healing rehabilitation welfare studies. Therefore, this department aims to cultivate experts who lead the natural healing rehabilitation welfare field through systematic research and actual clinical experience that integrates Sunhyun's wisdom and theories and technologies of modern life science by majoring in yoga healing, medicinal crops, skin beauty healing, physical therapy, rehabilitation welfare, and active meditation.

        Yoga Healing

It is a practice of maintaining mental and physical stability through the stillness of the mind, and unites with the harmony and balance of nature to remove the source of pain. Yoga healing is receiving a lot of attention beyond religion and ideology, and modern psychology and science also recognize the healing effects of yoga. In line with this trend of the times, this major aims to cultivate yoga healing experts who study the nature of yoga healing academically and help achieve body and mind health by establishing an actual healing system.

        Medicinal Crops

The development of modern medicine has achieved a feat of prolonging life, but social diseases have become more complex and chronic, making continuous health care and prevention more important to modern people. This major teaches healing studies based on the basic theory and practice of natural science and studies medicinal plants, which are raw materials for herbal medicines or pharmaceuticals commonly used in the prevention and treatment of related diseases. Depending on the direction of the research, we intend to cultivate creative professionals who can contribute to the development of the natural healing and medicinal crop industries.

        Beauty Care

The beauty care major is a holistic beauty-based convergence study that integrates beauty (hair, skin, waxing, makeup, nails, fragrance) and health (medical care, alternative medicine, natural healing, and wellness). It presents a new beauty paradigm by combining scientific healing and aesthetic values, and systematically conducts convergence research of modern beauty studies such as energy therapy, digital beauty technology, body type management, fragrance healing, functional cosmetics, fusion makeup, skin, waxing, hair, nails, hair, and scalp. Through this, we will cultivate creative experts and professional researchers who will lead the rapidly changing K-beauty and health industry.

        Physical Therapy

Based on basic medicine, manual therapy, orthodontic therapy, and taping therapy are investigated and analyzed to study the optimal approach to clinical practice. In addition, by expanding the academic scope of physical therapy, a field of modern medicine, we aim to develop practical natural healing areas by studying various parts from a natural healing perspective and to cultivate future-oriented professionals who contribute to the development of modern medicine.

        Rehabilitation and Welfare

The rehabilitation welfare major studies various social welfare practices that optimally restore and maintain physical, mental, social, psychological, and cognitive functions and abilities with the aim of human life. As part of the non-pharmaceutical treatment approach, it includes counseling to promote forest healing, holistic adult education, and rational behavior. In addition, we would like to educate on-site customized practices with convergent and practical job skills to meet the needs of the future society (second-class social worker certificate, first-class forest land qualification: additional performance linkage).

        Active Meditation

Active meditation is a study that explores the body based on the perspective of mind-body monism that sees the body and mind as an integrated organism, and is a field of science and art that studies the complex actions of mind and body that are sensed through the close relationship between the body, mind, and environment. The study seeks to rediscover humans through exploration of body movements, nonverbal forms and procedures, and internal experiences, so it includes all the various techniques of "Simshin Ilyeo" in the East and the West, including traditional sleeveless tics, movement meditation, dance, yoga, relaxation, acupuncture, and various martial arts. In this course, we intend to provide systematic and practical education to cultivate experts with the latest knowledge on active meditation and specialized knowledge such as scientific research methodology.
