- First, the goal is to foster social welfare professionals who combine theory and practice by promoting professionalism and capacity building for social welfare field practitioners. In addition, it helps them grow into high-quality professionals through in-depth education that combines field-specific practice to satisfy the academic interest of field practitioners and the desire for professional development. To this end, the curriculum was subdivided into "professional senior citizens' welfare, senior citizens' leisure, senior citizens' function improvement, senior citizens' programs, medical mental health, senior c itizens' community cooperation, senior citizens' policy courses, international senior welfare solidarity, and senior citizens' leisure welfare practice targets" so that students can learn in-depth courses to suit their needs.
Second, the Silver Social Welfare Department aims to help those who want to enter the social welfare profession acquire basic practical skills as social workers by acquiring expertise and skills in social welfare, and to use social science thinking and convergence studies to acquire micro and macro approaches in solving psychosocial problems.
